I’ve got the MBA and went through the marketing classes. I’ve seen and read all about the current state of marketing and know that many marketers still don’t understand that things have changed, and they aren’t going back.
However…
When I think of marketing I think of creating compelling content that spurs conversations, draws the viewer and reader into our community, and inspires them to connect and share their thoughts. I think of listening and adding to the conversations happening on Twitter. I think of connecting to like minded individuals on Facebook. I think of helping to spread the word not only about what we believe in, but what others believe in as well. I think of the collaboration that creates a trust that enables business to succeed.
