Hey everyone. I’m Robert Dempsey, CEO and founder of Atlantic Dominion Solutions.
And this is my little one, Palamee. And today I wanted to just mention something really quickly.
You know, we all get caught up in trying to stay ahead with the latest technologies, all of the RSS feeds and Twitter feeds and Facebook and all this just flood of information that’s out there, all the time. And it can take, yeah, and it can take a good amount of time to, you know, process. And so, I’m lucky right now to be on a road trip with the family. Oop, there she goes, talking.
And, you know, the thing that I just wanted to remind everyone, that I sometimes really need to remind myself of, is focusing on what’s important.
Yeah, it’s great to do a lot of business and all this other kind of stuff, but if you have a family like I do and a little one like this, just taking the time to spend with them is awesome. And if you can do that, like if you go to conferences and take them with you. You know, go on road trips, drive instead of fly, which is what we’re doing, right now going to see clients and speak at a conference and go Barcamp Philly and all of that kind of thing, (baby talks) there are ways you can kind of just work this in. And, you know, spend time with the little ones.
So, I just wanted to remind everyone of that, keep myself reminded of that and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas of how you keep what’s important to you out in the forefront all the time.
Thanks a lot, have a good one.
