I’m going to be finishing up my MBA in August, and then my family and I are moving to San Francisco, by way of Minnesota.
My wife and I moved to Orlando at the end of 2002. We had been living in Washington, D.C., and after 9-11 and the sniper incident, decided a chance of venue would be a good idea.
We’ve been in Florida since January of 2003. It’s been good to us. I’ve made a lot of friends in the local tech community, which has grown quite a bit in the last six years. It’s been great learning from you, and working with you. I will miss you all. Luckily though, we have this cool thing called the Internet which allows us to keep in touch.
The reasons for us moving to San Francisco too many to mention here, and I do not wish to bore you with the details.
I built Atlantic Dominion Solutions in such a way that it does not rely on a physical location. Again, the Internet is a great thing. I highly recommend it. So, business will continue from Minnesota for a few months, and then continue when we arrive in San Francisco.
I am looking forward to hitting the tech scene. I hear it’s quite large
I am lucky to have many peeps out in San Fran, many of which have been helping me to locate a great place to live via Twitter. Again this Internet thing! I can’t get over it…
So, San Francisco here we come!

It’ll be great to have you in the tech scene around here. And, sending you good move karma…cross-country can be rough.
Congrats on the move! I too am moving, to Hawaii, at the end of the month and I owe so much to the Orlando community to getting me there!
It’s been a huge pleasure getting to know you and I’m sure we’ll see each other here and there at the many conferences in our future.
Heck, you’ll be able to take the Muni to RubyConf I bet!
Good luck!
You’ve taught me a heck of a lot. Back when Jim and I were just hitting the tech scene, you were a big part of what pushed us to get more involved. Orlando Tech won’t be the same without you!
Good luck buddy, you’ll be missed.
