Scrum’d and Expens’d Get Updated Thanks to the Community

Thanks to our great community of users, Scrum’d and Expens’d got a round of updates, posted today. What follows is the list of updates in the latest release along with bugs squashed, followed by the roadmap for each application, and finally questions that folks had. Be sure to vote on the roadmap this week. In Saturday, we’ll choose the most voted on features to work on next.

Updates

  • As a User I can capture project information in a wiki
  • As a User I can attach files to a project
  • As the Account Owner I can close a project so that I it doesn’t count against my project count
  • As a User I can see the start and end date of a sprint
  • As the ScrumMaster I can see the Scrum Team member that has taken on a task
  • As a ScrumTeam member I can see the Scrum Team member that has taken on a task
  • As a User I can see the tasks for each user story in a closed sprint
  • As a User I can see the total number of hours for all tasks in a sprint
  • As a User I can continuously add user stories to the product backlog
  • Add Twitter and Facebook links to the site

Fixes

  • Clicking “Don’t show this again” on the inline help doesn’t matter
  • User is unable to upgrade their account to a new plan

Our users reported these bugs, however we are unable to reproduce them on our staging server (which is running in production mode) or on our local machines. If these continue to be an issue for anyone please let us know.

Here’s what the Scrum’d user community is asking for. Please vote for the ones you want to see next. We’ll leave the voting open for one week, and on Saturday determine what the next release will contain.

Updates

  • As a User, when I select a Tripit travel object, I can see additional information about it
  • As a User, I can view the currency and expense amount in different columns
  • As a User, I can view my TripIt information in an Expense Report
  • As a User, when I select a Tripit trip, I can see additional information about the trip
  • As a User, I can run an Expense Report and see sub-totals by currency
  • As a User, I can click on a tag on the expense lists, and see an expense report for that tag
  • As a User, I can select the currency to use on a per-expense basis

Fixes

  • When setting an expense as ‘rejected’ in approval window, state gets set as ‘accepted’ as soon as mouse passes over.
