We also asked for suggestions on what we can do better next year. 20 folks let us know. In the spirit of full transparency, here’s what they told us:

  • Improve the wifi (+5)
  • Look for a venue downtown or more central to Orlando
  • Have more power outlets
  • Get better coffee
  • Less fanboy info and more of where Rails is going
  • Breakout sessions where newer Rails devs can work with the masters in attendance
  • Vegetarian food option
  • Get the crowd more involved
  • Get better speakers
  • Provide snacks and drinks during the afternoon break (+1)
  • Replace the keynotes with speakers detailing their real-world experience building and launching applications
  • Have a hackfest and/or workshops at night
  • Have tutorial like classes
  • Have the speakers stick to Rails topics
  • Have more social time in between speakers

If you have any other feedback please post your comments here. If you didn’t get a chance you attend this year, you can still see all of the talk on the Confreaks site. Thanks to everyone who completed our survey and will help us make it even better in 2010.
