The Agile News – A New Agile News Site
Dec 8th, 2008 by Robert Dempsey - Tags: Agile Development
The Agile News is a new community-driven, Agile news site. It’s purpose is to allow anyone to quickly share important and interesting articles, posts, presentations and more, with the Agile community. And, you don’t have to create an account to post! It’s simple and quick.
Subscribe to The Agile News and be kept up to date with all the latest happenings in Agile.
On Twitter? Follow the Agile News there too.
You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

It’s not clear to me what’s different from other sites like reddit. Perhaps you can explain a bit more about your differentiation.
Thanks,
Richard
Hi Richard,
That’s a great question. Reddit is what is considered a social bookmarking site, almost like del.icio.us. You can enter in a url and title. That’s it. You also have to be logged in to post something. With The Agile News, you don’t have to be logged in to submit a link, and you can add your own summary when you post the link, which in this case is part of the summary you are adding.
There are similarities though as you rightly point out. You can comment on the posts, as well as rate them.
There are more features in the works. We’ll keep you posted here.
Thanks for the feedback.
