Kurt DeMaagd, co-founder of the hugely successful Slashdot.org, took a few minutes out of his busy teaching schedule to answer a few questions concerning teaching, Ruby on Rails, and applications moving off the desktop. Check out the interview on the Rails For All site.

“I taught TC 448 in Rails, and I had played around with the language a bit before. As a first language for web developers, I think Rails is a great choice.”
My favorite part. Curiously, though, he starts using the word Ruby later on
