World watch out – Rails now connects to multiple databases quickly and easily. In response to an article mentioning a lack of multiple database support in Rails, Dr Nic worked his magic and released magic_multi_connections. Rails apps can now connect to multiple databases without having to refactor existing models. This sweetness was done in less then 75 lines of code.
