November 20, 2006 – Winter Park, Florida – Atlantic Dominion Solutions, LLC has won a contract with RepYourBreak for the development of their new site. This new site will enhance the current site RepYourBreak has, bringing the surfing community even closer together. “Though we can’t say anything about the site until it is launched in March,” said Robert Dempsey, Project Director of Atlantic Dominion Solutions, “we can say that it is another exciting project and it will use all of the latest Web 2.0 technologies, ideas, and of course Ruby on Rails. ADS is very happy to be working with RepYourBreak on this project.”
The RepYourBreak network offers worldwide surf reports, live cams, forecasts, surf news, videos, photos… all powered by local surfers. RepYourBreak is focused on providing the technology and infrastructure so that local surf communities (local photogs, artists, videographers, reporters, promoters, shops, shapers, etc…) have a voice on the internet without spending years building and retaining an audience.
