Setting up a Rails Development Server

by Robert Dempsey on May 23, 2006

Here is a little powerpoint (in pdf for everyone) that we, along with Joe Block, did for the Orlando Ruby Users Group at their last meeting. For anyone who want to take a moment to create their own little Linux box for in-house RoR development (such as we did) this one is for you. The install includes Ubuntu, Ruby, MySQL, Rails, Lighty and Subversion – everything one needs to get started. Enjoy!
